Our framed willow fences are available in two designs ‘Heritage’ and ‘Latteridge’.
Framed hurdles are available in standard and bespoke sizes and provide an appealing fence all year round.
Framed hurdle fencing can also provide an alternative solution to extending the height of a low garden wall.
Other uses include the screening of gas tanks, unsightly walls and of course, the ever-increasing number of wheelie bins.
The Heritage is a framed willow hurdle using tanalised treated timber for both uprights and a capping along top and bottom of the panel. We use 7 – 8 ft willow rods ‘withies’ which are selectively chosen for their quality and strength. To obtain a robust hurdle whilst retaining its natural charm we use a tight ‘slew’ weave or ‘bunch’ as it is sometimes termed and of course their natural design will filter a proportional amount of wind giving an added advantage over conventional fencing in exposed areas as well as offering protection to young plants and hedgerows.
The Latteridge is a framed hurdle produced with the same quality workmanship as the Heritage whilst incorporating a continual latticed aperture providing privacy with a viewing facility.
